When the person, presence and power of the Spirit came at Pentecost, there was Wind and Fire — a new beginning for God’s people.

Join us as we encounter the Holy Spirit and how he empowers the church with spiritual gifts for the good of others and the mission of Jesus. We’ll open the Scriptures, fix our eyes on Christ, and ask God to move among us again — not by our strength, but by his Spirit. Our prayer is simple: that God would bring fresh wind and fresh fire to our hearts, forming us into a Spirit-filled people who love deeply, live faithfully, and boldly make Jesus known.

As Matthew’s Gospel draws to its thrilling close, we see Jesus move toward the very purpose of His coming.

Beaten, carrying His cross and crucified… a moment of suffering that seemed like the defeat of Jesus and the kingdom of God, actually was the fulfilment of God’s promise to put an end to sin, suffering and death forever.

The crown of thorns – death and suffering – now becomes the crown of life.
