Making Jesus known across the world in partnership with Compassion

Compassion exists to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name, with more than 2 million children currently supported through their programs. At City on a Hill, we partner with Compassion to help make Jesus known and shine His light to those without hope.

Compassion is Christ-Centred, Child-Focused and Church-Based. Every week, children gather across 9,000 church-run development centres around the world to receive support for their physical, socio-emotional, cognitive and spiritual growth.

Field Experience Trip

Join us in 2026 with a team from across our City on a Hill churches travelling to Indonesia to see the work of Compassion on the ground! The Field Experience Trip will involve visiting child development centres and meeting children and families who have been impacted through the work of Compassion. These trips are a great way to see the work of God’s kingdom across the world and to be part of sharing the hope of the gospel to those without hope.
