15 years of God’s grace
October 2022 marks 15 years as City on a Hill – a movement of people who were lost and now found in Christ; broken and now restored by the blood of Jesus.
We want to celebrate hearts transformed and lives renewed in Jesus. God has been so kind to us for the last 15 years as we have sought to know Jesus and make Jesus known, by his grace.
During our anniversary weekend, we’ll be looking back to ALL God has done as well as setting our eyes on his vision ahead for us.
“‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me,
and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and be glad,
because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again;
he was lost and is found.’”
– Luke 15:31-32
– Luke 15:31-32
Lost + Found
In life, we often struggle and make mistakes, much like the prodigal son who squandered
his inheritance but eventually sought his father’s forgiveness. Despite his fears of rejection, his
father welcomed him back with joy and celebration. This story reminds us that no matter our
failures, we can always return to a loving God who awaits us with open arms, ready to restore
us and celebrate our return.
