Associate Minister

City on a Hill Ballarat

The story so far

City on a Hill began with a small team and a big vision to make a difference in our world for the glory of God. Since our inception in Melbourne in 2007, we have witnessed a special work of God’s grace as he has united hundreds of men and women around the mission of ‘knowing Jesus and making Jesus known’. City on a Hill now meets across ten locations in six cities.

City on a Hill Ballarat began in 2022 as a small group of men, women and children in a living room, praying and hoping to start a church for the sake of sharing Jesus in this city. Since then, God has grown us in size and in faith, still committed to that same mission of knowing Jesus and making Jesus known.

In the season ahead, we see City on a Hill Ballarat continuing to grow and mature as a church. Our heart remains to reach Ballarat with the beauty, truth and relevance of Jesus, and in order to serve this mission we need to grow the team with godly and passionate people exercising their God-given gifts for His glory.
