“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” – Isaiah 43:19
Join us on August 1-3 for a powerful weekend of encountering God, connecting with our church family, and seeking renewal in our lives, families, networks, and city.
The weekend will take place at Belgrave Heights Convention Centre from Friday night to Sunday afternoon, and we are thrilled to welcome Jon Tyson (Pastor of Church of the City, NYC), who – alongside Guy Mason – will lead us in exploring the renewing work of God—stirring our hearts for revival, spiritual power, and deeper intimacy with Jesus.
Come expectant. Come hungry.
Don’t miss this moment!

For everyone else, when registering for the Weekend Away and if you select, “Adult (Onsite Accommodation)”, there will be a question asking if you would like to specify particular people to share a room with.

The Weekend Away is designed to be friendly to people of all ages as the Belgrave Convention Centre has plenty of experience hosting large scale events.
For families with babies and toddlers, the Hope Centre dining room has several highchairs. There is a change table in the accessible bathroom in the Auditorium foyer but not all bathrooms. The dining room has a microwave and there are fridges in the main meeting spaces in the Hope centre as well as in the Hope Centre dining room where parents can store things. There is boiling water in these spaces also.
Off the foyer of the Auditorium there is a ‘cry room’ located behind the café. It has glass windows into the Auditorium and can have the audio played into there.
Rooms do not contain cots, and therefore if these are needed, you will need to bring a travel cot or equivalent with you.
Yes, the Weekend Away will have dedicated breakouts for youth aged 12-17. We encourage youth to attend the main sessions with their friends and family.

For families with babies and toddlers, we will confirm what equipment you will need to provide and what is provided onsite; and what parent room facilities will be available (like a cry room, etc) to enable parents to engage in the sessions outside of the auditorium.
Belgrave Heights Convention Centre is located at 3 Convention Ave, Belgrave Heights. From the CBD, it would normally take about an hour to drive there.
There is also a train station in Belgrave that connects with public buses which can take people close to the convention centre.
For those who need a lift, we have used Caroster to create a carpool system for matching people who have spare seats in their cars. Both drivers offering a lift, and people wanting a lift, can register themselves here: Caroster Car Pool – Weekend Away.
We encourage everyone to attend the whole weekend away and therefore partial tickets will not be available.
We also understand that some people can only attend Sunday. In this case, closer to the date there will be a Sunday-only session option to register for (further details to come).
Everyone is encouraged to bring clothing for a cold climate, toiletries, bible, notebook, chargers, and personal medication where required. For community time you are welcome to bring board games, puzzles, snacks, etc.
